14 days from brief to report with a remediation plan

We start with a brief and a list of key views to audit (up to 100 in the standard package). Without a precise scope, the audit would lack direction. We combine automated scanners (Axe, WAVE, Pa11y - detecting 30-40% of issues) with manual keyboard and NVDA screen reader tests (the remaining 60-70%).

Each WCAG violation receives a P1/P2/P3 priority, a barrier description, a screenshot and a specific code fix. An action plan, not just an error dump. After you, your developer or our team implement the fixes, we retest. Retesting is priced separately from PLN 1,500.

  1. Brief and scope (days 1-2)

A list of key views to audit (up to 100 in the standard package), target audience, EAA legal risk and success metrics.

  2. Automated scan (days 3-5)

Axe DevTools, WAVE and Pa11y across all views. They detect 30-40% of WCAG violations - contrast, alt text, ARIA and DOM structure.

  3. Manual and responsive tests (days 6-11)

Keyboard navigation, NVDA screen reader, focus management, 44x44 target size, forms and error messages reveal the remaining 60-70% of issues. We also test mobile (375px), tablet (768px) and desktop (1280px): touch gestures, 200% zoom and reflow.

  4. Report and review (days 12-14)

A 40-80-page PDF plus a Google Sheets spreadsheet - each violation has a P1/P2/P3 priority, implementation time estimate and specific code fix. We finish with a 60-minute video call and 30 days for follow-up questions. Implementation with retesting is optional (from PLN 1,500).

How much does a WCAG 2.2 accessibility audit cost?

A standard WCAG 2.2 A/AA accessibility audit costs PLN 2,500 net and is ready in 14 days. It includes 50 criteria, a PDF report with a remediation plan, a priority spreadsheet and a 60-minute review. For portals and e-commerce sites with 500+ views - from PLN 5,000.

Who needs an accessibility audit in 2026?

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) has applied since 28 June 2025. It requires AA-level compliance from private businesses employing 10+ people in e-commerce, banking, insurance, transport (online tickets), e-books and telecommunications. The technical threshold is set by EN 301 549 - currently V3.2.1 with WCAG 2.1 AA, moving to WCAG 2.2 AA after revision. Public bodies have been covered since 2019. We explain the obligations and deadlines in our article on the European Accessibility Act in 2026.

What exactly do you check across the 50 WCAG 2.2 criteria?

The 4 WCAG principles: perceivable (contrast, image alt text, transcripts), operable (keyboard navigation, visible focus, 44x44 target size), understandable (language, labels, form errors), robust (HTML semantics, ARIA, screen reader compatibility).

How long does an accessibility audit take and when will I receive the report?

A standard audit of a site with up to 100 views takes 14 working days. Portals and e-commerce sites with 500+ views require 21-30 days. You receive a PDF report, a priority spreadsheet (P1/P2/P3) and a 60-minute video review.

What is the difference between WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2?

WCAG 2.2 adds 9 new criteria (Dragging Movements, Focus Not Obscured, Target Size, Consistent Help) and removes the obsolete 4.1.1 Parsing criterion. We always audit against 2.2 - which automatically meets 2.1 and 2.0. Find the full guide to the changes in our article WCAG 2.2 - an accessibility guide.

Will an accessibility audit also improve my site's SEO?

Yes - accessibility and SEO speak the same language. Better alt text helps Google understand images, semantic HTML supports indexing, focus and keyboard navigation reduce bounce rate, and 44x44 target size improves mobile UX (mobile-first indexing). These goals support each other.

Which tools do you use for a WCAG audit?

Axe DevTools, WAVE and Pa11y for automated scanning (detecting 30-40% of issues), manual keyboard and NVDA screen reader tests (the remaining 60-70%), and responsive tests at 3 viewport sizes. Automation alone is not enough.

What does the accessibility audit report include?

A PDF (40-80 pages) describing each non-compliant criterion, with a screenshot and a specific code fix. A Google Sheets spreadsheet with P1/P2/P3 priorities, implementation time estimates and the impact on legal risk. The document can be presented as a statement of compliance.

Do you help implement fixes after the audit?

Yes. After the audit, you can: 1) implement the fixes yourself or through your developer, 2) commission us to implement them (priced per project). We then retest to check whether the barriers have actually been removed. Retesting is priced separately from PLN 1,500.

Does the audit cover mobile apps and PWAs?

Yes, the standard package tests the responsive website at 3 viewport sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop). Native iOS/Android apps and SPAs/PWAs require a separate quote because they use different testing tools and have different requirements.
